Latest News With Us & Some Changes with a New Book Too

We have not been writing on here as much as we have wanted to but thats about to change. We have several things going on that I will cover in this to update everyone on what we are doing.

First, I want to say, we decided that we will be homeschooling Lil Chris. He is going to Kindergarten in August and we feel with our lifestyle and how he is right now, homeschooling makes the most sense. We will be doing some traveling through the next 6-12 months plus we is a little behind and we already have him in speech therapy for that twice a week.

We will get him into a private school for 1st grade. We are going to be doing a coop with Classical Conversations where they have a teacher once a week and we teach the other 4 days. They also help parents learn how to teach which is a huge plus.

Second, we are writing 2 books now. One as you know is called “Inspired Marriage” & The other is called “Broken Together“. The 2nd book came because we were writing a chapter in “Inspired Marriage and we called it “Broken Together” but then God nudged me that this subject should be a book and not just a chapter of a book. That inspired us to make this leap.

We already have the outline and chapter names for the book. The book’s subtitle will be “Understanding How the Past Affects Your Marriage”. This is a heavy book for us to write/

“Inspired Marriage” is a fun book that we are writing but “Broken Together” goes a lot deeper into some of the causes of why couples are the way they are. We are very excited about both books and the goal is to have both written by the end of the year. As of the writing of this post, Inspired Marriage has 15,000 words written and Broken Together is at 5000 words. We are moving forward with both!

Third, and lately we are going back to a company called Vasayo as our network marketing business of choice. Some people don’t like direct sales and some people do but this is a part of our life.

Here is a small piece I wrote on why all this is happening with Vasayo:

I walked away from a team that was on FIRE in Vasayo and now it all crashed and I am here to pick up the pieces to see whats left. No matter the reason, when you feel God placed you somewhere, don’t leave because its going to cause some regrets and hurts. I know because I have been there and i am here!
I went against the iudgment of my wife on leaving and I almost never do that and I regret that now but time to make the decision right. I have always believed that the couple should make the final decision and I went against that with this decision which I should have known was going to be a bad decision. Sandy always has great intuition and I listen to her on everything even when she disagree with me.
She was always against us leaving Vasayo but because she wanted to support my decision, she did. She knew my heart would never leave Vasayo. She also knew that God placed us there and I was going to go against that but she followed me because she loved me.
I knew God placed me there and I tried to walk away because I felt like there was more money quicker somewhere else. I didn’t look at the whole picture. Why would I place money over God? Thats a HUGE lesson learned there.
With the exception of my marriage, I have walked away from so many things in the past but this one hurts because I knew God placed us there for his purpose! Time to reexamine where we are and do something about it! Time to make God’s direction right!
We all fall short of God’s Glory and I am thankful that he forgives and allows us to rebuild on his power! God is awesome and we are ready to rock enroll!
So as you see, we are pretty busy right now and looking forward to keeping you up to day and sharing our life and story with each of you. We are excited about where God is leading us and so ready for the future!

The following two tabs change content below.
We have had a crazy story since we have been married over 15 years. From the moment we married, we have pretty much been a 24/7 couple and now a 24/7 family with Lil Chris who is 5. We want to use this website to share some of our experiences from God to family to life and business. We want to help people see that they have an adventure inside of them, they just have to find it and run with it. We are not meant to live a dull life but an adventurous life.
